The Big One
The Big One, or as some people remember it being called the Pepsi Max. Opened in 1994, you cant imagine the Blackpool skyline without it. The 65 feet structure can be seen for miles around. If you’re feeling brave, get yourself in the queue to ride. Three minutes of pure thrilling roller-coaster experience!
Rides, cafes, bars and stalls - everything you would expect from a British pier! Catch a show at the famous Showbar, ride the big wheel - enjoy a beverage or two. Of course no
seaside experience would be complete without fish and chips followed by a generous portion of candy floss!
Perhaps what Blackpool is most famous for. The illuminations are turned on for the winter months usually in September through til Christmas. Miles of seafront are decorated in millions of individual lights. A huge tradition and one you definitely wont miss!
Eat, drink, shop and ride! All this plus much more including bowling, arcades and even ice skating. And thats not it - many other events and entertainments grace the park from clairvoyants to museums! Seaside fun at its absolute best you cant miss a day at the Pleasure Beach.
Just a building you say? Not at all! Going over and above expectations you can spend a whole day at the tower with the activities and experiences it has to offer. The Eye is a solid glass skywalk 380ft up! See the beautiful and iconic Ballroom - even dance on the floor yourself! Most recent additions are a circus and dungeons to the tower - your just never going to be stuck for something to do!
Officially the third best zoo in the UK according to TripAdvisor. Take an old school day out to see the many mammals, birds, reptiles and insects the zoo houses. Aardvarks, emu’s and tree frogs being our favourites!

The nightlife in Blackpool is pretty much centered in one place - unsurprisingly the city centre right along the seafront. The style
of nightlife keeps some of its traditional roots of glitz, glamour and showbiz and places that alongside traditional pubs with alot of
Northern spirit. Fear not though, Blackpool has also caught on the modern trends of cocktail bars and super clubs but they just do it
with their own twist on things! You’ll find familiar brands for a reliable good time, but sample something a little different whilst your in Blackpool too. There must be something to rave about with hens, stags and many other celebratory groups making their way to the
town mainly because of its glorious nightlife! On a backdrop of coast and illuminations, what more could you ask for!
